The Chicago Fishing Foundation gives donated gear new life by redistributing it as tools of empowerment in local communities. Since its inception in 2019, the amazing community of Chicago's Fishing Foundation volunteers, staff, partners, and supporters have enabled new life for fishing gear here in Chicago. People have been empowered to access resources and opportunities provided by Chicago's Fishing Foundation. The foundation is located in Chicago's South Side, we aspire to be a 501(c)(3) organization. We know that fishing is a healthy and fun pastime! Sustainability is at the heart of what we do! Every year, The Chicago Fishing Foundation saves gear from ending up in landfills, giving them new life in underserved communities around Chicago and the United States. Fishing is not only a great form of exercise, but it creates lifelong bonds and healthier families.
